These soft, furry mittens are ideal for tickling. View larger. | Soft and Comfortable Design With these mittens on, your child can feel just like Elmo. The gloves are sized for children from two to four years of age, and are quite flexible. Crafted from polyester fabric and coated in a soft, fluffy, red "fur," the gloves have a feathery texture, which makes them ideal for tickling. However, if they get dirty, do not throw them in the washing machine; the material is made for surface washing only. When touched to a surface, the right glove gently vibrates. It also plays back a variety of phrases from Elmo, including his signature laugh. Buyers should be aware that only the right glove has these special electronic features; the left hand is simply a mitten. Still, the toy should succeed in providing hours of ticklish fun. Tickling with a Groovy Twist Elmo's Tickle Hands also come with an exclusive DVD that features a dance lesson on how to perform Elmo's brand new dance -- the "Tickle Hand Groove." This is a simple dance that children will be able to learn with ease. The DVD is hosted by Elmo, himself, and has all the charm of any Sesame Street feature. Kids will find the accompanying song upbeat and danceable. The song can be played at any time by pressing the image of Elmo's face on the right glove. What's in the Box Two tickle hands and instructional dance DVD.
Kids will love learning how to do Elmo's brand new dance -- the "Tickle Hand Groove." |

Reach Out & Touch Someone

Who doesn't love a good tickle? I know I do.
Depending on your technique, tickles have the power to elicit laughter or fright. Though, I prefer the former.
When I was a kid a lot of people called me "The Tickle Monster" because I just loved tickling everyone as much as possible. In fact, even now as a grown man, people still call me that (or variations of).
As a child, one of my favorite things to do in class was to reach over and tickle someone unexpectedly while we were watching a filmstrip. Not only was it fun to see the boy squirm out of his seat, but the resulting scream would fill my heart with joy.
I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about tickling all of those boys. Such fun times!
Back then, it really didn't matter where I was, if I saw someone who I thought needed a tickle, I tickled them. That's just the type of guy I am. Today, times are a little different, with those silly sexual harassment laws and respecting people's "personal space." For years I've been disappointed by the tickling restrictions of today's society, but I knew there had to be a loophole that would allow me to continue my tickling ways.
The answer to my problem was found in Elmo's Tickle Hands - a toy that combined the joy of tickling with the fun of Elmo.
The over-sized, fuzzy, red hands provided me with the perfect opportunity to return to the times when tickling was a game and not a crime. I simply slip on these delightful glove-like hands and "The Tickle Monster" is back in business.
Despite the thick fingers, the freedom of movement is actually quite impressive, and didn't really hinder my tickling one bit. They're really warm, too!
But the best feature on Fisher Price's Elmo Tickle Hands has nothing to do with their comfort - the real fun begins when you press Elmo's nose. That's when the hands start to vibrate and move, opening up a whole new world of tickling that I never knew existed. Press the nose again and Elmo even teaches you how to do his "Tickle Hand Groove" dance. A dance I'm working very hard on perfecting, by the way.
I can't emphasize enough how happy I am to be back in the business of ticking. I just don't feel complete unless I'm out there tickling as many people as I can find.
So, this holiday season, use the Elmo Tickle Hands to touch more than children's hearts, and don't forget to watch out for "The Tickle Monster!"
